Singapore Raffles hotel Tropical Scones aka Biskut Uncle Lee



Rasanya dah lama bebeno Uncle Lee share this wesepi. Tapi keadaan tidak mengijinkan maka wesepi itu telah ku sandarkan pada kenangan saje..Sorry Uncle Lee, take time to try your receipe, Jangan amik hati ekk..bukan tak sudi tapi plan memasak selalu lain aje yang menjadi.






Wiken bila buat biskut ni pun tak pasti date kejadiannya.Yang saya ingat Eicha sorang dok ulang alik bukak tupperware makan biskut ni. Si Shazriena plak tanya dah nak raya ke ibu buat biskut macam ni..? Heheh...apa taknya..memang time raya aje ibu dia wajin buat biskut..selain raya jangan mimpi ye..memang malasssss....

SINGAPORE RAFFLESS HOTEL TROPICAL SCONES
(haa amik ko...panjang nama semekut ni...)
From: Unclee Lee

  • 65 g  Sugar
  • 65 g  Butter
  • 1  Egg
  • 450 g  Flour
  • 30 g  Baking powder
  • 50 ml  Milk
  • 65 g  Raisins ( saya tak letak saya campur badam yg dah bakar)
  • 1  Egg
  • salt, pepper to taste.

 
  1. Pre heat the oven to 200c.
  2. Combine the butter and sugar in a cake mixer.
  3. Mix until fluffy and creamy, then add the egg.
  4. Add the flour and baking powder and mix until a crumble forms.
  5. Pour in the milk and mix to a smooth texture. Do not overwork as the mixture will toughen.
  6. Add the raisins. Lightly flour a smooth surface and roll out the dough to about 3cm thick. Use the cookie cutter to cut out individual pieces.
  7. Glaze with the egg mixture.
  8. Place the scones on a baking sheet and bake in the oven for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven, allow to cool and serve, ideally, with kaya, jam, clotted cream, farm-fresh butter and a hot pot. If you make this, send me telegram. Have fun





Biskut ni memang kurang Manis. Sebab tu Uncle Lee sajes serve dgn kaya or what ever perasa yang manis. So masa bakar untuk 2nd tu saya terus sapu dengan madu...bila makan tak payah nak sapu jem ke..kaya ke..dah terus bole ngap..hee..Pastukan saya tak minat raisin..itu pasal saya tak letak, saya gantikan dengan badam hancur yg telah saya bako...lagi lemakkk je semekut ni..

errkkk..intan..yg sejibik lagi tu buat sapu kat smekut tu seberum bako..so cheann campur ngan madu bio manis...sbb tawar skit semekut ni..

Haiyaa..how come you lupa? You bab lady cantik, beutiful women ingat sokmo. But this recipe I think you gave last year.and logic aa kalo you lupa...faktor usia maa..hehe

Err...that cups is my boss gave to me on 2010...tak sure plak royal dultan ke..arcorroc ke..or what brand.hehe..owang kasi amik je...

fullamak..tak sangka den..kukis ni begitu glamer ekk...kalau otel raffless tengok my kukis pic konherm they will order from me..hahaha
